THE VOICE OF THE VALE
Welcome to the homepage of The Vale Online & Vale Radio. We are a not for profit organisation designed to bring the community closer together. By the community, we mean the Vale of York. We believe that, in recent years, the locality of our community in our community has differed significantly and has had quite a bad impact on local communities across our wonderful landscape. We want to change that.
The Vale Online is a website designed to adapt to any device, making it very 'mobile first'. It will provide local information such as news, events and other useful tools that are used in every day life. We also pride ourselves in getting involved with local businesses, helping their business expand as we understand that surviving business can be very tough, as well as understanding that if we don't support local businesses, they will close.
Vale Radio is the new local radio station for the Villages & Vale of York. Vale Radio has already had a massive impact on the community since it's launch on 18th August 2014 and it is becoming the next big local radio station in the local area. Already, Vale Radio have hosted a number of events both before launch and since it went on air. It currently broadcasts on the internet, and is available on mobiles, tablets, laptops and desktops and via our own smartphone app.
